Facilities
At Brimham Rocks Self-Catering Holiday Cottages it is our policy to describe our holiday cottages as honestly as we are able but, please do not hesitate to ring us if you feel you need some additional information or assurance. Our holiday cottages offer genuine bedroom space for 2, 4 or 6 people and sofa bed settees increase the sleeping capacity to 3, 6 or 8 people in some properties. (In addition, we can provide Z Beds and travel cots.)
We offer a selection of 10 warm and cosy self-catering cottages for you to choose from, with open plan living, kitchen and dining areas, wooden floors, oak beams, double glazing, central heating and warm-feel soft furnishing and decoration. All of the cottages are comprehensively equipped with crockery, cooking utensils, cleaning materials and bedding. The only thing we do not provide is towels. Heat, light and power are all included in the price. (Book Fri-Mon, Mon-Fri or Sat-Sat)
Converted from the original farm buildings, all of our self-catering holiday cottages have been individually and tastefully designed to optimise the space available, whilst maintaining the original character of the buildings, some of which date back to the 17th century.
Our swimming pool and games room facility was converted from an old Yorkshire barn and it is a great place to while away some time in a clean, safe and relaxing environment.
We are confident that you will be ‘wowed’ by our location, happy with your accommodation and site facilities and be delighted at just how easy it is to visit so many beautiful and interesting places in and around Nidderdale and the Yorkshire Dales.
Swimming pool and hot tub
Our indoor, heated swimming pool is a popular venue all year round with guests young and old. The water and air temperature is set at 29.5 degrees ensuring a pleasant environment throughout the day.
There is a hot tub on the swimming pool patio for guest use throughout the day.
Games Room
Our games room is equipped with a pool table, table tennis and table football which are all free to play. There is also a small slide and climbing frame for toddlers to enjoy and a seating area, with viewing into the pool, so that parents can keep an eye on younger members of the family.
BBQ, Picnic area and Children’s play area
There is a BBQ and Picnic area overlooking the fields towards Brimham Rocks. There are two tables/benches for your use with ample space for additional seating.
There is an additional picnic table on the west lawn adjacent to Cherry Cottage. There is a also a children’s play area next to the main picnic area.
Car Parking
There is one allocated parking space very close to each property with additional parking available adjacent to the swimming pool area.
Utility room
Laundry, ironing and freezer facilities are available in a central location just off the main courtyard. There is also a vacuum cleaner.
Miscellaneous
For a small charge we rent travel cots/bedding, high chairs, stair gates and Z Beds. We do not supply towels in our cottages but we do have a small number of Towel Packs for hire at £7.50 if you forget to bring your own.
Well Behaved pets welcome
Our cottages are not kennels and they should not be used as one. Only bring your dogs if you intend to take them out with you.
We normally only allow up to a maximum of 2 pets at any one time in any cottage (subject to size and breed) Also, if your dog(s) are large breeds and/or long haired please speak to us before you commit to a booking so that we can discuss housekeeping issues.
