From Harrogate

On entering Harrogate, follow the signs to Ripon through the town taking the A61 to Ripon . At the second of two closely placed roundabouts at Ripley, turn left on to the B6165 to Pateley Bridge. Take the first right off this road (approx half a mile), signposted - brown tourist sign - Brimham Rocks Cottages - 6 miles.

Follow this road – approx 3.5 miles, until signpost to Brimham Rocks Cottages (brown tourist sign). Turn left at this sign and follow road for 2.5 miles - we are on the left.

Take the B6265 from Ripon to Pateley Bridge.

After approx 7 miles and just after the "Welcome to Nidderdale" sign take the left turning signposted Brimham Rocks Cottages – if you reach the Half Moon pub you have gone too far!

From Skipton

Take the A59 to Harrogate.

After approx 15 miles you will reach a crossroad at the top of a very steep hill - turn left on to the B6451 to Summerbridge. When you reach Summerbridge (after passing the wood yard on your left) you will come to a crossroad, go straight across- Hartwith Bank- leaving the Flying Dutchman pub on your right, then you will be climbing steeply up a winding road.

Go straight across the next crossroad (signposted for Brimham Rocks Cottages - brown tourist sign) and continue on through Brimham rocks passing the National Trust Car park on your left.After the rocks, there is a sharp bend to the right and another to the left. Take the next turning to the right, to Warsill and Bishop Thornton signposted Brimham Rocks Cottages. We are the first on the right.
